It's hard to rank them at MLBs because most of these guys don't start off playing MLB but are moved there in their SR year.

From the list above, based on overall production at the U, I would rank them:
1. Dan Morgan (1997-2000)
2. Ray Lewis (1993-95)
3. Mike Barrow (1989-92)
4. Maurice Crum (1987-90)
5. Sean Spence (2008-11)
6. Nate Webster (1997-99)
7. Denzel Perryman (2011-14)
8. Colin McCarthy (2006-10)
9. Jon Beason (2003-06)

I would have Denzel at the bottom of that list. I don't think he's better than McCarthy and Beason.

perryman >> beason... you gotta be on crack...

Beason was crucified here missed many tackles. Perryman has had a better college career than Beason

In college, yes.

Beason had only 187 career tackles, 3.5 sacks and 1 int at the U. He had 93 tackles his last year here.

Denzel had 108 tackles last year. He has 286 career tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 2 Ints already with half a season left.

Beason started out at FB and sat out most his first year and got a medical redshirt, he also skipped his senior year. Denzel has started since he was a true freshman.

This is correct. Beason only had 132 career tackles at Miami.

Wish we could see Perryman in a real attacking style defense, think he would be beastly.

We don't.

Nothing against Denzel, I believe he's been stuck in a ****** scheme and forced inside when he's more natural on the weak side, but minis some big hits and a great game against a ****** Florida team last year what has he really done. He makes a lot of tackles 5-10 yds down field and has had stretches where he disappears.

He will be yet another cane that plays better in the league than they did in college.

McCarthy and Denzel are close. I chose Denzel because McCarthy didn't start as a true freshman. He started as a soph and then got injured his junior year. He got a medical redshirt and had a great senior season with 119 tackles and finished his career with 308 tackles. I chose Denzel because I think he will end up with over 100 tackles for the second year straight. I like them both a lot as they both brought the pain. This can go either way depending on how Denzel finishes his senior year.

When Perryman goes to the NFL, if he can stay healthy he will be mentioned in the same breath as a Jon Vilma. He'll make 3-5 pro bowls in the right scheme.

Definitely top 20. Maybe around McCarthy. Lot of guys ahead of him. McIntosh for one that no one has ranked. Lol

DP is the goods but this is LB U. Just to be mentioned with the group is an honor.

I'd put him around Colin and Sean

McIntosh did not really play MLB here. He only started 3 games at Mike his Junior year. We had Vilma, Leon Williams, and Romeo Davis starting at MLB during his time here. The list I provide included most of the starting MLB from 1990-2014, I left out Glenn Cook and Romeo Davis.
