I think he became a casulty to the numbers game... I know for sure we told him there wasn't room for him (5.10 when we wanted 6.1 or better).

Yea he was probably backup plan for those schools

It's probably a combination of issues. Wanting to stay in Texas, wanting earlier playing time, possibly not having a commitable offer, and, also, SMU is in the AAC, not C-USA, so it's at least in a better league than 2 years ago.

Gresham wanted to play RB, but theses schools wanted him at FB. It's the reason we were so close to landing him, we were one of the only school to recruit him at RB instead of FB...
