When's the last time we played UF and FSU in succession?

I can't remember it ever happening, even when I was a little kid. Back then it was typical to play Florida early on and FSU later in the season

Good question. Off the top of my head I don’t think it’s never happened in my lifetime, but I could be wrong. If it has, it’s probably only been one time. But honest to God I don’t remember it ever happening.

The answer seems to be "never happened before" best I can tell from a college football database.

Closest thing I found was 1975 when the Canes played FSU, Notre Dame and UF in that order over the final three weeks of the season (we also played Big 8 powerhouses No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 4 Nebraska and No. 13 Colorado back-to-back-to-back that same year ... all under a first-year coach)
