No, we should win out with "our talent advantage over every team we play". I am so sick and tired of the talent talk. SHOW ME ON THE ******* FIELD! Until then, we are smoke and mirrors. Generally, I am talking up the Canes to my buddies, this year my comment is "we suck and let's see how it all plays out".
Sincerely,
A Frustrated Canes Fan

You're so right about the **** talk of "talent". I mean how long ago was the Sileo rant? Over a decade now? Exact same topic, nothing has changed. Even in our 2017 run we werent a good football tean. We just had an insane turnover margin and a a few critical splashes of luck. The team hasn't played consistently well in over a decade and a half. Not even for one single time period throughout that. It's mind boggling.

So I agree with everyone above. No, a win Saturday won't make me feel any better. Need to start seeing some progress and consistency. Let's see how we do over this run of conference games.

I’ve been a fan of this team for a long time and I’m wondering what version of jeckyl and Hyde is going to show up.
One big win against a team in disarray isn’t changing it. Problem is I’m more confident in another nail bitter and not a 49-10. Sucks man I hate to feel that way but it’s what the team has shown this year so far.

We are the team that lost to UNC, won a dog fight against Central Michigan, and struggled to a 14-0 lead for the first 29 minutes against Bethune Cookman.

Right now we are better than a reeling Virginia Tech, whose entire program program is in disarray - but for the above reasons, not by much.

So yeah, a 49-10 win would be a nice and much needed surprise. Conversely, we’re in bad shape, so a sloth fest to see who wants to lose more would be an absolute disaster.
