Had an opportunity to meet Butch at a corporate event right before the 2000 season and everyone was asking about Kenny, the WR's, TE's
- He said, "listen ... your missing what will make us great ... we can run on anyone in the country ... even when they know we are going to run on 3rd and short and they cant stop us .... you simply break their will..... they just give up"

Considering we couldnt bust a grape last weekend .... we have some work to do
 
OL is the most important unit in football and has been for like a century.

Real elite staffs recruit and develop those hogs. Our past four staffs including Corch Rick havent figured this out. Day one he was here he should have been spending every moment looking to upgrade there.

corch Rikt couldn't recruit OL at UGA either. Kirby recruited more blue chip OL in his first three years then Rikt did in his entire time at UGA.

Rick knows this look at his OL at UGA
 
in fairness, richt's staff has recruited Donaldson, Herbet who was highly regarded, Reed, scaife, and campbell.
that is five highly regarded 4 star products. gaynor was a steal too. the players who suck arent the kids he recruited.

THIS is what I’m afraid of. If we keep starting Rosier, we will definitely lose to VT, BC, and probably Pitt again.

Without Question, Easily the most informative Defensive FB discussions I've ever had with anyone, were with Butch...and this coming from someone who has two family members who coach/coached in the NFL...and an uncle who was a legendary HS Coach in Colorado....
