When was the last time we ended the season on such a low?

I have been very hard on posters who say that we're dead and the program is a has-been. But I have to be brutally honest, what I saw tonight (and I was right there at Yankee Stadium) was downright pathetic. There was no life, no hope. Nothing.

Someone tell me why this isn't the new standard. I genuinely do not see any hope. Even when we lost 58-0 to Clemson, it wasn't how we went out and we knew Golden was gone. I can't believe this 35-3 monstrosity is our final taste of the season. I'm struggling to find any silver lining.

Bro, c'mon. I would kill a few innocent children to have a year like last year right about now. Apples and oranges.
U would go thru that ****** 3 game losing streak last year... Again? Ended the season with 3 straight double digit losses

We just lost 35-3 to Wisconsin. And not even a good Wisconsin, but some 7-5 or whatever the fvck they were, Wisconsin. We were actually favored to win the game and we got smoked by some ****** *** Wisconsin team. We all need to wake up here and realize this is who we are. Yes, I wish it was last year. We at least were competitive and had excuses. Now? It's defeatist and hopeless. Recruiting sucked this year and I've been following the team since 1991 and can't recall as despondent a finish as we just witnessed.

I can no longer give Richt the benefit of the doubt. We are in the same spot that we were in 2015. You can argue we were in a better spot cause we knew a change was coming. I love this program and this team but honestly, at this time I have nothing to look forward to regarding Canes football.

This is the lowest for me because last season even with the way it ended it seemed like the program was back on the upswing.

Now it is obvious that this program is dead forever.

2014 under Folden, we lost 4 in a row to FSU, UVA, Pitt & South Cack in the Independence Bowl.

Difference is we at least had a close game vs SC in that Bowl game, we just got shellacked vs an average Wisky team that only threw the ball 11 times, so there's that.

I have no idea but Richt chit the bed last year too.

Last year was ***ing atrocious and to top it off he made zero changes on offense. The offense regresses last year and he says *** it...no need to make changes.

This was just expected after he continued with his plan.

That's a decent comparison, but I genuinely feel lower right now than I did back then. Just a ****** feeling all around. I guess the one known silver lining is Malik is gone. Other than that I've got nothing.

I was telling everyone good coaching would give us a better QB this season, our O-line would improve (They actually may have a bit) that it was just the way football works from year to year.

Then LSU and its like we just added a couple of quarters on to the Pitt game. There was zero improvement. And I liked Maleek - kid had heart, it wasn't his fault he reached the limits of his ability.

The fault lies solely on recruiting and coaching QBs that put us in the position of having to rely on only Rosier.

The coaching never had the right fix for the position, was clueless when to pull, or when not to. Mechanics looked awful, missing wide open receivers even when they had time, and always double clutching - lack of confidence.

My most disappointing Hurricane season - some of those others I did;t have much hope but after 10 wins and finally winning the Coastal, thought we would have played a lot better

Loss to a ****** pitt team while we were the number 2 team in the nation....then for the second straight time, we get our **** pushed in by Clemson, and then lose again to Wisconsin in the bowl. This year was ******, but ending he season this way was expected....last year was not. only reason y 2007 didn't end as ****** is because they beat that wack *** fsu team that year. IF they didn't win that game, they would have had a 7 game losing streak.
