When Miami comes to town

It may be true that there are "haters" or others that hold a special reason to root against the "U". Because we are nationally ranked and certainly "contenders" - all teams may play with extra desire and effort trying for the upset. As it should be, and when we beat even the less-than-hugely-successful teams on any given week, point-spread topped or not, I think its a big tribute to our achieving players!

Even when Miami has been terrible, other teams still act as if they are beating up on the national champs. UVA fans still love to hang their hats on the 2007 thrashing, even though that team was 5-7 and one of the mentally and physically weakest Miami teams I've ever seen. They act as if they accomplished something significant with that one.

There is no doubt in the eyes of the College world and at Night in Virginia when Miami comes to town its a big deal.

Being its Nkosi's first away game it makes for a challenge to the senior leadership of this team to lead the way.

GO CANES !

One new wrinkle CMR said they were using the Soffer indoor to pipe in crowd noise to help players get acclimated to adverse conditions. Should get real loud in there.
