When I told ya'll this defense was missing Jade Silvera

Jade, Miller & Ford are all savages.

Idk why Jon Ford gets slept on so hard on this board, a lot of yall must not be paying attention but that boy has been demolishing double teams all year.

All 3 of the DT's are having a breakout season for us, along with Rousseau emerging as the best player on the entire team on either side of the ball.

What's the most hilarious is how we have the highest ranked Run Defense we've ever had in the Diaz era, tied for 3rd in sacks & TFL's, but there are still people on here who want Stroud fired lmao.

No he didn't recruit any of the DL's on the team, but he's coaching them & trust me there's a significant difference in the way they have played from our past Defenses in Diaz's scheme. Even when G Willis was getting all those TFL's our Run Defense wasn't this good.

"To be elite you have to think elite" than that doesnt mean matching clemson, it means us matching or surpassing the Great Miami d-lines of old, ***** clemson and Bama, they all have been trying to replicate our blueprint, but the real mccoy is on the come up! Those people talking about who the starters should be need to cut it out, jock rousseau and jade's snap counts will increase as their stamina and production increases. But ford and bethel are the starters for a reason, you not running inside on them. Our d-line rotation has been perfect, both jock rousseau and nesta coming of broken foots and yall want them to be anointed instant starters, lol, they both still have to earn time, that's what is making them boys even more hungry, pretty soon, the whole defense will start being like that at all positions on defense.

Thank you sir, alot of people on this board are ridiculous man, they are more interested and only want to win the annual nerd recruiting sites class and star rankings award, instead of seeing whats actually happening in real games. You got people on here still ****ed cause the 2 db's that coach rumph coached in highschool didnt come here, they didnt care that we had the #1 pass defense in the nation last year, they just kept talking about those 2, so im not surprised now that the mob has been criticizing coach stroud, they dont realize how foolish they are.

Oh no trust I love all of our linemen they are a gang of rough riders and I haven't complained about the snaps everybody is doing work I just don't like to compare anybody now to the old Canes until we get the rings do nrct bedt is Clemson since everybody says they're the gold standard today have it in your minds that you're going to surpass then because that group has the talent

Their is only one Gold Standard, and that's us and will always be us. We got the highest compliment i think that can ever be bestowed on us or any team out of the mouth of ole bobby bowden pre-game talk. You know when a man is your adversary and he comes out and say/said "Miami play's Defense like They invented the daggum thang" than he tried instantly to clean up his admiration for us by immediately saying something like "we got a good defense too now, ole mickey and the boys" but in his heart you knew he wanted to say "but Their defense is definitely better than ours" lol!

GT put up numbers on the ground for sure. You failed to mention 14/21 GT's points in regulation came from a N'Kosi fumble in the endzone and a fake punt for a TD, Pitt kicked four FGs. I see you though!

We gotta stop the crazy zone blitzes and stunting too.

Let the ends rush and let the tackles attack their man/gap.

Just cutting out the unnecessary tricks up front will help contain mobile quarterbacks. If they are really good, use some cover 1 and aggressive zones and let the extra defender spy and clean up.

We are best when we let the defensive line eat and attack.

It's not really about one guy. It seems like we can get fresh legs in there pretty regularly right now.
Nesta had more tackles than any DT. Had 6 tackles, 1 sack
Bethel had 3 tackles, 1 for loss
Miller had 2 tackles, 1 for loss
Ford had 2 tackles, 1 sack
Nnoruka had 2 tackles.

So yea, Jade killed it due to our depth.

I think I'm fairness to both side of the discussion, Ford went through a slump but he's really coming on towards the end of the year. All three progressing and back next year look out. Also great we've been able to get some separation by redshirting the DL we signed last class.

He doesn’t get talked about like he should imo , probably his star rating is the reason. Ford gets disrespected too , he’s head and shoulders the best guy inside but you’d never know reading posts about him.
