I thought the old chain was auctioned off. I could be wrong but seems like I remember that being reported earlier this year before the season started

I like that idea, CD. Shaq's sack fumble was a perfect example of that. There was one instance last year when the guy who got the chain actually respected that and went and put it over the teammate's head who made the play. Can't remember right now who it was. I want to say Jaquan, as that seems like a very Jaquan thing to do.

It is what it is. Defense is a team thing. The guy who gets the chain celebrates with the entire defense on the sideline, even the defensive players who were not in the game on that play. So all in all, the "fun" aspect plays out well.
