When do we start hitting the QB?

I guess I don't see the same problem others do with allowing QBs to get hit. I know everyone is thinking about the disaster that happened when Richt allowed QBs to get hit in a scrimmage and Allison got injured and then transferred.

But this is football, where everyone is at risk of injury all the time. And our QBs have been treated far too long with kid gloves. Manny is intentionally instilling grit into the QB room. I would think it's only natural to put them in game situations prior to UF. If one of our three guys gets injured, then I'm sure the other two can fill the void. That's what depth is supposed to do for the team. Next man up.

p.s. Allison has done nothing so far at WVU. Maybe there's a correlation.

Op question is do you want to start out the season with your best qb possibly on ir(injured reserve).or do you want the best option starting at qb the first game.and just in case that option gets injured in a game you better have a decent backup.
