Why do refs now review a play AFTER a new play has been run? It's happened to us twice this season.

Technically the call came down from replay prior to snap. On field refs were slow.

Right. I guess our tempo is hard for the refs too, apparently. My concern is that someone is going to get hurt on one of those plays. What if Chaney goes down with a knee injury on that 1st down play that never actually happened in the box score?

So they say..
Point taken.

There is/was disconnect between replay refs and on field umpire.

Either a process breakdown or comms delay--the announcers made it sound like both.

It wasn't a good look at all and erodes the appearance, at least, of the integrity and objectivity of the officials.

If I'm the ACC, I'm demanding from Head of Officiating this gets fixed NOW.

Yeah that’s bull****. If there’s no whistle and there clearly wasn’t. Then there should have been no replay imo

Decisions need to be made faster. They are taking the advantage away from up-tempo offensive teams.
