Talk radio has been making fun of him for making excuses so he went into the press conference with the intent to not make excuses but it turns out without excuses he doesn't have anything to say.
 
Oh my please fire this FOOL NOW!!!! Why delay the inevitable... recruits see he's done, the players have mailed it in on him. He has nothing left to sell and he's out of excuses. Worst of all the longer he sticks around the more it hurts the kids. It's sad that the administration/BOT don't see this
or are too stupid to do anything about it.That crap about the "cloud" and Donna saying its like his first year is complete GARBAGE!!! We have talent that even a blind man can see, yet we stand at 6-6 with a sorry head coach and no end in sight for his ineptitude...

Ima get negged for this, but whatever. I can't hate Al Golden man. Hearing him talk like that, man this guy loves the program, he tried his best. Watching him look out for Malcom Lewis, man you can't say this guy is a bad guy, Al Golden is a great guy.

I hate to see him fail. That said, his time here is done. To look at that interview, he knows it. We all know it. He knows it too.

I can't blame Al Golden. He took an awesome opportunity.... being the coach at temple, a chance to coach at Miami.... who among us wouldn't have taken that chance?

The job was just too big for him. I don't hate him for that. I like Al. Same as I like Randy. Al is the white Randy.

He knows he is done, looks very nervous almost agitated, struggling, looking for answers but there are none. Sorry Al your time is up. Hear that Donna, Blake and all Admin. Time for a change, let's not ***** it up this time!!!!

Dude, you need to be making 6 figures working for Obama explaining how he loss the Congress. You, my man, are one **** of a spin master. Al holding Malcom made me cry. But one thing, he has been throwing the players under the bus since the KSU game his second year. Once his defense was revealed as useless and the heat on Mark got going, Al started blaming the players. Even when we looked good and beat some chump team, he back hands them under the bus with something like "they are finally starting to get it."

For me it is all about the kids and the fans. Al and Randy failed both. Only God knows our hearts so I can't say if either is a good man or not. Both took jobs they were not qualified to do and failed. But asked for and took extensions they had not earned and did not deserve. Some would call that smart, some would call that stealing. JJ was a bit of an ***, Dennis a drunk, but both delivered what they were paid for. Howard was both good man and great coach. Al might be good man, but he is no coach.

I do completely agree about BOT and Donna. They suck in ever possible way and always have.
 
You almost feel bad for him . Hes not a bad guy but he's never going to fit here , he's not fit to coach or recruit here.
 
He knows he can't coach! Knows everybody knows he can't coach! even his conscience won't let him make excuses. He'll stay because he also knows he has no future coaching anywhere else. His BS career has ended and his goal is to collect that check as long as possible!

As Hurricane said, one of the biggest concerns now is the negative recruiting angle, "you don't want to go to Miami, Golden in his last year there".
 
He leveraged the "investigation" into an unwarranted extension and tried to sneak off to Penn St in the middle of the night during the height of recruiting season, while going ghost on our administration.

I'll pass on handing out sympathy.
 
Our BoT is going to try and force feed another season of this garbage down the fan's throats.

12 more months of this exact same feeling. I don't know if I can take it.
 
Didn't even bother to watch the video..... Same schit different Saturday.....

The guy is getting beat by teams with far less talent than the Canes..... That is a Fact and has nothing to with the Shapiro debacle but attests to Goldens failure as a Head Coach.

Al is a dirt bag. He has zero integrity and doesn't give a crap about UM or the program. He wants out in the worst possible way, but he is imprisoned by his own incomeptence. No one wants that loser and we are stuck with him until we finally fire him. We should fire him now! Stat!

Our recruiting will suffer, our fundraising will suffer and our revenue will suffer. Why saddle the next president with an Albatross? Why have the next president come in when the mood is decidedly down? Help the next president by ridding our school of this Albortion.
