What's the starting o line next year?

What about George Brown, Zach Dykstra, Bar Milo, Hayden Mahoney, Jahair Jones, Tre Johnson, etc.?

Not a Corey Gaynor fan. He doesn't have the footwork of a quality P5 starting OL and never will. The stuff he did in HS - ragdolling smaller defenders with blatant holds to rack up his "pancake" count - isn't gonna translate to this level. That one snap when he was in for Darling was a total backbreaking drivekiller.

.

Expecting a lot from a true fr ol is silly. Even ND had big struggles and he was a top 5-10 ol. There's exceptions but ol and dl are normally for either grown men , you've gotta to be a very special Fr to dominate.

No mention of expectations there...just an opinion.

I realize that. That's why I'm white knighting for him since he isn't around.

I think it will be:

LT: St. Louis
LG: Guathier/ Scaife
C: Gaynor/Gauthier
RG: Donaldson
RT: Hillery

If we have a new Qb it’s the perfect time to switch the C. Assuming Gaynor is as good as we’ve heard he is, he might be solid at C and Gauthier at G. If Scaife is better than either Gauthier or Gaynor then I can see him as the RG, and one of the other 2 at C.

I really want players like Scaife and Reed to come in and be absolute bullys on the interior. I know it is a lot to ask, but i am hoping those two come in and make it very interesting in the middle. We also have better pass blockers than run blockers at Tackle up and down the rooster. I think any 3 of Donaldson, Scaife, Reed, Gauthier, Gaynor in the middle and any 2 of St. Louis, Hillary, Hebert at the tackle spots. Only two spots i see "locked up" so to speak is St. Louis and Donaldson

I doubt anyone else is ready to contribute and it might be wishful thinking to have Scaife and Reed being trench bullies
