What's the deal with the field at hard rock?

The grass looked absolutely terrible last night. Was it because of all the rain? I didn't watch any preseason Dolphins so idk if it was like that during their games. I know the grass at the stadium can look bad at times but it's embarassing to see all the highlights of these great plays on a brown field

I'm guessing it all gets ripped out this weekend and replaced. The Dolphins are on the road the next two weeks and don't return home for two weeks.

Did you not see the monsoon that was played at the Rock on Sunday? FAMU played their game there and they had to replace the turf between the hashmarks the next day.

You would think they would’ve replaced the grass after that ended back in JULY

It was bad, but we're kinda spoiled by fields these days. It's kind of shocking the **** fields they played on 40 years ago (soccer, football, whatever)

I’ll take our **** field over astroturf any day of the week and twice on Sundays. That’s not to say the couldn’t and shouldn’t do a better job.

Watch some clips from the Dolphins games back when the Marlins played there and they had to play on a dirt infield or new grass rolled on the infield, right after MLB ended.

Marino tore his Achilles because of it.

The field looked immaculate in comparison, considering it just had a football game played on it 4 days prior, in the rain.

A game four days ago, so it would be really hard to replace the turf in four days,and tons of rain since then and that’s what you get. We’ve been getting some monsoon like rain down here the last couple of weeks.
