What's our biggest need on the Roster?

Always with the blind homer spin lol smh...

We have 4 CB's that's not even a playable 2-deep, there isn't a single legit P5 program with just 4 CB's for Spring.

Dunson & Clarke don't get here til Summer/Fall camp, they're TF 's who need time to maturate & develop before being forced into PT due to the depth situation.

Ivey is not a good CB, there's no debating it, even a retarded homer couldn't argue that he's good, he's a big time liability in coverage & has no recovery speed at all. We need a CB that will take his spot, because as long as he's a starter his side of the field will get attacked forcing us to the change the Defense by rotating help to his side making us more vulnerable.

CB is a glaring issue because we don't have enough depth & we have just one guy who's proven they can cover. I think Couch will be good at Nickel, but that's not enough. We need a GT CB.

Of course you don't think we have any glaring issues, **** you were okay with us sticking with Jarren before we got King lol. We could have just 2 CB's on the roster & you would be in here spinning like, "we don't need anymore Corners guysm! We only can play two at a time!" Lol smh.
You probably had this same hysteria when we had just 5 corners in 2016, 5 in 2017 and like what 6 in 2018 and like 6 for the entire 2019 season right? Pretty sure most of those groups outside the 2016 group ended up with a top 20 passing defense(2018 was #1). I’m not saying I wouldn’t want another corner but what’s the need in talking about it right now when they can’t enroll for spring. It may not be optimal but sometimes it is what it is, no need to keep complaining about it. In terms of returning experience of guys who actually played this is the 2’d best situation at cb we have been in terms of guys getting minutes in games since diaz has been here with this defense behind the 2018 cb group who had 2 returning starters pretty much in Jackson and bandy. Blades and Ivey each played starter minutes every game, couch got time on the base defense and was locking sh*t up even vs uf. Christian Williams played a little but both played on all of the special teams which is still good nonetheless.

Jarren better than Perry still and my stance on that remains🤷🏾‍♂️ And it’s Right too. And get it right I said If we pursued brown from bc at qb i would rather stick with Jarren becaues he wasn’t better than him but I ALWAYS was in on the idea of having king here and said that’s who we should go after whether Jarren was here or not.

We are so screwed if a couple of CBs go down
If one CB gets's injured we're ****ed.

But people never think that depth matters until we're playing walk-ons in crucial games like Ragu did.

We need an experienced vet GT CB, everybody else is raw & going to have a ton of growing pains that will result in missed assignments & blown coverages.

It's whatever though, people will learn the hard way.

I know a lot of people are going to say OL but I think it's CB. You have Ivey and Blades returning but everyone else is pretty inexperienced. If we bring in another Transfer then it needs to be a CB in my opinion

CB can be fixed in 1 cycle. OL takes years.

A new Board of Trustees. Perhaps some with actual money they'd like to spend on a good football product and an acumen for hiring people that can make good athletic decisions.

If you mean the actual football team...a head coach.

If you mean on the football roster...a left tackle.

LB. I like Huff but would rather see him at Striker in 2020. McCloud has never shown any consistency. Brooks is best suited to a rotation where his snaps are matchup and down dependent. Beyond that we have true freshmen and a bunch of dudes who can't get out of the medical tent.

Slot corner and OL depth are also needs. And WR...need someone to step up.
