Let's see...

*F$U's overall winning streak (the nation's longest...not to mention they're creeping up on one or two 'Canes winning streaks)
*F$U's winning streak against us
*Knocking F$U out of the playoff hunt, i.e. keeping them away from possibly another national title
*Winston's first loss
*Our winning streak (modest as it may be)
*Our reputation (national spotlight + undefeated opponent + our rival = huge opportunity...again)
*Kaaya's first chance at F$U (start your own streak, kid)
*Denzel's last crack at F$U (as well as many others, including possibly Duke)
*Duke's chance to make a huge statement (and really break into the Heisman discussion?)

What else you got?

Man, forget everything else, I just want to smash these dudes. So badly.

Local recruiting is one of the biggest things on the line.

Also not so important in the real world but really important on these message boards, fswho fans are starting to be as obnoxious as gaytor fans, would kove to shut them up.

First two post pretty much sums it up! If we could hang with a better FSU up until half last year going into the game stumbling and limping, I definitely like our chances playing the best we have played since Golden got here against an FSU team that is struggling but holding on with lots of injuries in key places. Before anyone rattles off that the teams that we have beat in this streak suck, just remember that last year we lost to this equally bad teams while playing horribly bad ourselves. The only thing I care about is that we are playing better "NOW". Peaking at the right moment. This is the best chance we will get at knocking off FSU and pulling a UCLA type of upset! If that is not a reason to be hopeful then you have already decided to be miserable regardless of the circumstance or situation.

If we pull this off, the momentum will be staggering in our favor. FSU's run will be absolutely obliterated.

Fans, recruits, media, all will be looking for a seat on the ol' wagon. If we win out, nationally ranked next season, no question, recruiting gets a massive boost.

UM will be hard to ignore.

My mood in day to day interaction with my co-workers for the next 9 months is also at stake saturday, so there is that too.
