What is going on in texas is possibly one of the worst coaching jobs i have seen in the history of college football... In year 2 he has completely lost his team it is pathetic players are going at it on social media with each other the best is could you imagine someone like mark walton tweeting at halftime during a game i want to transfer out of miami ... Wow!!!! Texas is a dumpster fire and strong is the reason please please do not set this program back again even thinking about hiring him

Correct. Texas is a dumpster fire, but Strong is not the only reason. Texas was a dumpster fire before Strong. What we are witnessing, is an implosion. But It takes a while to put out a dumpster fire! We've been trying for about 10+ years. They need to give him at least 2 more recruiting classes, tho. I don't think that will happen, however.

Look at Strongs record at Louisville. It sucked.
He beat up on inferior teams but would lose to Syracuse and UCONN.
Strong is a total fraud as a head coach. Great coordinator.

If you took at the recruiting classes before Strong got there and the type of results Texas gets out of those type of recruiting classes I think Mack Brown would win 8 games with that roster this year. Mack Brown did not make Charlie Strong hire a west coast OC and have him run the spread. Mack Brown did not make Charlie Strong not start his talented redshirt sophomore QB who was the number 2 rated QB coming out of HS. Mack Brown did not make Charlie Strong not recruit a prospect out of Louisiana who as a TRUE freshman scored 4 touchdowns against Texas. Mack Brown did not make Charlie Strong go recruit some Australian kicker who in the first quarter muffed a punt, kicked a kick off out of bounds and missed a field goal. Last Mack Brown did not make the Texas offense get dominated by the TCU defense which is YOUNGER than the Texas offense and was missing 6 starters. Charlie Strong is the reason Texas is playing like **** not Mack Brown.

Mack would be in the same boat. I thought Mack should have gotten at least two more years but it was the best thing for him to re-sign. I really never wanted to him go down the Bowden or Paterno path. He left like Switzer. If Mack would have stayed that team would be in the same position. Texas best talent is their young talent. Ash kept getting concussions and Swoopes just don't have it. Mack Recruiting strategy just caught up to him. I don't care where UT was ranked that team is void of experienced talent.
Miami needs to get a young creative coach. Sort of like what UF did with Meyer. I don't think Strong is bad but I don't want him here. No more former canes or coaches with mediocre resumes.

He had Teddy Bridgewater and his toughest opponent was UCF.
No rational human would say he's had enough time to prove himself at Texas but I'm also sick of the talking heads on ESPN calling him a "great" and "proven" head coach. Nonsense....
