You've added nothing but pure crap.

You start a thread pretending to be innocently asking a question, knowing the answers already and planning to post that meaningless video the whole time.

That makes you a liar and a con artist with zero credibility.

Any third grader could read your first and second posts and see what you were doing.

What do you hope to accomplish here? Because the case is completely over. They admitted guilt, they were expelled, they accepted the plea and paid the penalty.

I'll tell you what you hope to accomplish: you want to promote the fantasy that the university does not have its players backs. Think that helps the school? Thanks think that helps with recruiting?

No, and it also doesn't help the two players, and it doesn't help the victim, all it is is you purposely trying to hurt the school. That's all you're doing.

You're clearly incapable of posting without ad hominem. If I get you so mad, move on to another thread. Seriously.

While this particular case is over, the next time a player is accused of similar action (and there will be a next time), the administration needs to suspend the player indefinitely, tell him to get a lawyer, and let all the facts come out before ending his career. It's that simple.

the two players who were summarily thrown off the team following a rape allegation a couple years ago? I remember the AD didn't even wait to see if charges were filed. Did they get prosecuted?

Yet another so called Miami fan

I can be a Miami fan without being DBJ. The university has done a lot right, and some things wrong. Discussing things they've done wrong shouldn't be off limits on a message board.

Way to gloss over the fact they were popping E pills with an underage girl on campus. Knuckles gonna drag.

So what if they were? That's a far cry from what they were accused of doing. If the girl was 17, it was legal for her to consent to *** with the two players. It blows my mind that they were hung out to dry by the university and expelled without so much as a cursory investigation.

Even if you ignore the consensual *** aspect of the case, providing a controlled substance to an underage girl is a crime. Both players deserved to be expelled from school and should consider themselves fortunate to obtain a first-offender deal rather than sentenced to jail time.

Let's take the consensual aspect out then. 17yo freshman girl goes to a dorm room with two 19yo sophomores, gets wasted on booze and pills and has consensual *** with them. You saying the males deserve to be expelled from school and go to jail for that? I'm not saying they are innocent, but expelled and jailed?

You consent to the attacks by posting stupid ****.

Things going too well right now that you have to bring up past negativity to show that if a situation that you don't have all the details about, occurs in the future, the school should act in a way that you prefer?

If after 17 years of existing on this planet as a female, a woman doesn't know better than to chow pills and drink booze with 2 football players then PARENTS/PARENT fvcked up BIG TIME!

I know this because I have a 24 yo daughter that never had any of this kind of ********* in her life.

I agree, the girl should know better. This doesn't change the fact providing her drugs and alcohol is a crime.

And you raised a smart young lady. Congratulations.

I will describe a worst case scenario.

The 17-year old girl is a minor, and under the legal drinking age. The players were underage in possession of alcohol, and giving her alcohol. I'm not a lawyer but I'd guess these are misdemeanors. Ecstasy is a controlled substance, same as heroin or cocaine. Possession is a serious crime, as is providing it, and especially providing it to a minor. These crimes are felonies. As first time offenders they were be able to get the charges reduced, lucky for both of them.

What is the University's code of conduct for all students, and actions against students committing multiple misdemeanor and multiple felonies on campus?

Forget about Figs and Blue as football players. This does not and should not matter. To the contrary, in my opinion being football players on scholarship makes the situation worse. The players represent the school. If they were two geek math majors the case would not have been headlines in the newspaper and on ESPN.

They're done, gone, and they wasted rare opportunities for a top-quality higher education and potentially NFL careers.
