8 wins, with our schedule, means the admin is not even TRYING to compete for the top prize, anymore.

It means they will accept being an average football program, because 8 wins in the ACC Coastal is nothing.

8-4, with our schedule, means we lose to every team that has a pre-season ranking ... GT, FSU, Nebraska, and Clemson. And those 3 losses in the ACC means we'll finish middle of the pack in the Coastal.

I can't imagine what message boards will look like if the admin lets Golden come back after going 8-4 ....

Also can't imagine what the home stadium attendance will look like next season ...

8? Why not 7 or 6 ?

8 wins means we accomplished nothing , so just make it .500 keeps his job. It's all the same mediocrity

Manny also says 9000 calories is the normal dailly caloric intake for a man. Obviously numbers isn't his thing.

History shows that it's probably going to take 10 wins to win the coastal. 5-3 in ACC play has only won the division once in the last five or six years.

DA Phew hired Al Goldenshowers, they know nothing of standards.

Also, kick rocks if you aren't rooting for losses. If you are fine with 8-4, then you are just as fine with losing every game. ******* losers.
 
I wouldn't be one bit surprised (in fact I think 8 wins is what we end up with before a bowl) if he keeps his job with 8 wins. I'd be more shocked if he was fired at that point than if he wasn't. Sad stuff, but that's life these days as a Cane fan.

8 wins 50/50 (Doesn't guarantee him a job, but its probably the magic number he needs to even had a slimmer of hope from the Admin)
9 wins He will be here next year
 
If Golden & Co. go 8-4 he will spin it into heading in the right direction, two more wins than the prior year. Great depth and Kaaya returning, blah, blah, blah. The best season he has ever had is 9-5. Once at Temple and once here.
