What year did Miami start wearing the green Jerseys?

1998 vs Virgina Tech was the first time I remember us wearing green jerseys. Was a night game at the Orange Bowl and pretty big game for us. Lost a heart breaker in OT.

Don’t think we saw the green Jerseys again until 2001?

Thanks. I forgot about that one. I had to go back and pull up some clips of the game. Wore green jerseys and green pants that game. Not a very good look with that type of jersey design.

I remember that game because it could have cost us the NC. We opened a big lead then the defense went to sleep in the 2nd half and we ended to only winning by like 9. And the BCS used point differential in their formula back then.

Oh, I remember we played them in 2000. I just forgot we wore all green. Yes, you are 1000% correct. That game was probably the determining factor that cost us the chance to play in the NC that year.

Don’t remember when I got this but it was definitely pre-2000

Our best Green’s till this day. Overall, I’m not a fan of the green but those were beautiful.

98 vs VT is the first time they were worn in that style but that picture is a day game in 99 against WVU if memory serves me right (28-20 win). Also wore green in 99 against Syracuse and Rutgers.
