In order of priority:
#1 - Beat FSU
#2 - Play in the ACC Championship game
#3 - Win OR play competitively in the ACC Championship game (not many teams can beat FSU/Clemson twice in the same year)
#4 - Prove the team can be coached to win a bowl game with 4+ week prep time
A loss to FSU this year would seal the deal. However, beating FSU and making the ACC Championship game would probably make many moderate fans and the BoT happy. I don't believe he should be kept on without a trip to the ACCCG + winning the ACC.
Regarding #4 - I have yet to see Golden properly prepare a Miami team for a bowl game; that is a key differentiator between good coaches and bad ones. If we somehow win/compete in the ACCCG, Golden has to prove he can properly prepare the team for a top tier opponent. As of right now, playing against a well coached SEC/Big10 school would not end well for Golden.

he has to win what? What is considered winning 8-4? That is not acceptable
