What will the disappointment level be when

there is no Jurich, Cristibol or Kiffin joining The U? I'm not asking to discourage but to prepare for the continued years of disappointment we have faced for way too long. Side question: any timeline on the new AD announcement...it appears imminent but i really need to know yesterday...I have little patience

I will personally be about 1% disappointed, simply because there is an insurmountable mountain of prior history working against us ever being able to have nice things.

I've been following this program very closely for a very long time, I'm fully conditioned for a "prepare for the worst and hope for the best" scenario to break out of any potential decision point and fork in the road. We VERY rarely do what's needed around here.
 
Disappointed but i would be ok with a competent AD, the investment in athletics (20-30m+) and someone like stoops.

Removing the Mel Tucker deal as an outlier, if Miami were to be spending $20mm more per year on football I’d sincerely hope we could do a **** ton better than Stoops and a competent AD

The disappoint level only factors in if the guy you want particularly isn't the one chosen for the AD or HC role...

(Ex: I want Coach X and Coach Y gets hired... now I'm disappointed)

No matter what happens people on here will complain about the hire one way or another.
 
Idk about being disappointed as much as concerned. Somebody is going to find themselves propped up by the additional 20-30 million they say they're willing spend. Lets just hope its somebody deserving.
 
Miami is making financial moves and committing to things fiscally that I haven't seen or heard this penny safe, pound foolish program say or do in the four decades I've been a fan.

There is too much smoke for there to not be fire this time around. Fans need to lose this old "we suck, no change is coming" muscle memory and get on board for the ride. Game is changing before our eyes down in Coral Gables.

I mean, that’s all some of us have seen…we don’t want it or enjoy it, but expect it until proven otherwise
