What we gonna do about these refs?

There was a hold on Patchan that was about as egregious as it gets in plain site where the play was going as well. It was impossible to miss and the refs standing there like "didn't see nuffin!!"

REFS were HORRIBLE....they should be embarrassed. Send them back to class & if they can't see get some contact lenses. The holding all night was ridiculous. The official was standing right by the play when the NC WR was out of bounds and ruled it a catch which was reversed on the replay. Total clown show.

Next time we see an ACC ref, it's time to take'em to crowbar city, give'em the Tonya Harding special.
 
There two "catches" overturned by replay officials were so horrible it's a joke that they were originally ruled catches. The first dude was about three yards out of bounds before touching the ball (right in front of the side judge) and they called it a catch. The second "catch" on the deflected pass that rolled around on the floor before a UNC receiver fell on it was even worse. I could see it clearly from the stands on the opposite side of the field but the refs couldn't see it right in front of their faces. Thank jeebus for replay officials. It's laughable that they even had to go to the tape to overturn those joke calls.

The refs were horrific! Every dang play, their OL was holding our DL and sometimes, they were twisting them around, it was so bad.


Of course, we got called for holding.... SMH

Yeah. Just ask former Maryland head coach Gary Williams about that. He'll tell you all about Duke getting " preferential treatment " from the conference zebra's. May be that's why Maryland bolted for the Big Ten. hUh.

That game at Duke a few years ago was so blatantly obvious. I think we need to seriously consider jumping ship from the ACC. Just the threat of losing us to the SEC might make them reign in their referees.

Your comment brought back old memories. Some of these fans do not what bias is. 1991 Cotton Bowl.#3 Texas vs #5 Miami. Virtually a home game for them Canes had 202 yards in penalities in that game. No big deal. Canes won 46--3.

It’s the countless non calls that have killed us, tho.
 
Refs weren't bad that game IMO. We held a lot too and didn't get called, Mahoney bear hugged a guy who beat him and they didn't call it. Holding can be called on **** near every play.

Save the *****ing for a game were we really get screwed (which does happen).

UM would never consider moving to the sec because of academics.. and UF, being the pussies that they are, would do everything to make sure it didn’t happen... but it might be a good idea to threaten anyway.
