No joke, that 15 yard unsportsmanlike on 3rd down that led to the UNC TD was really weak. It was the refs looking for any opportunity to extend the UNC drive. Officiating has been awful when we play the powder blue, ever since joining the ACC. It's always bad, but they save a special brand of awful for us vs UNC. That's a ref inserting himself into the game, trying to make something happen, and it's bullsh*t.

Nah that **** was just boneheaded on Willis. Shut your trap, and whoop that ***. It was probably the best thing for him, cause they rampaged after that.
 
They were holding on almost every offensive play. Half of those long runs they had should've been called back.

^^^ momentum on our side game would of been over a lot sooner. ESPN made that call.
 
Refs will always be imperfect.

They have a very tough, thankless job and should be treated with respect.

ACC at heart is a Carolina league, we are the new neighbors that they just don't like, I have accept it, in any game playing the 5 teams from the Carolinas expect at least two calls to help the opponent.
 
I mean on one of the long runs Willis got tackled at the LOS. How is that not holding? On another Patchan was trying to disengage from a blocker and was clearly held, again no call. Richt is going to lose his **** again.

@DerekDohrman let me be more specific. had we not gotten penalized unc would of folded very early in the game, that's bad for ratings and many people would of tuned out not me i was there. that call gave them life and a TD.

Yeah, that Willis mistake was costly, and could have been moreso if we were playing a better game. Talk sh*t, but if you're going to make a gun gesture in a dude's face, the flag is going to come out every time.

Langham should have gotten flagged for stating that guy down and wigging his finger but they flag Willis for some gesture?
