Signing these guys is one thing but the development is what's huge for keeping some of these flakey recruits home. They need to see an All-American Bandy, All-American Hall, All-American Nesta, All-American Blades, All-American Pope, All-American Joe Jackson, etc... get these former local stars on the national spotlight will resonate more at home. But, glad for the guys who stayed home to put on for their home school. Richt is really going to emphasize that 99% percent of the 2019 class signs during the early signing period.

This. We haven't had many guys going in the first round the past few seasons as we used to, and no where near some of the SEC powers. I think we get back there soon, but it may take a little more time.

There is still something wrong at Miami. We can't keep any of our upper classmen from leaving early. There is absolutely zero reason that both of our DTs are in the draft this year hoping and praying to become mid-round picks. Meanwhile Clemson convinces their entire DL to return. And then we whiff on 90% of the elite talent in our backyard to top it off. Every year, we end up with gaping holes at key positions. This year its the DL. Last year it was CB. Next year it will be the entire front seven. This is a recipe for disaster.

This is why some of us didn't want a "Recruiter" and "program manager" type hired.

We understood that we are gonna have to win FIRST, like what Chris Petersen, Gary Patterson, Chip Kelly, Mark Dantonio, etc etc do.

You can but you need way way way better coaching, particularly at the coordinator level.

THIS current Miami staff and HC are not winning without the elite SFL kids.
