How was that show? He's the reason I started learning how to play guitar over 20 years ago.

The man is still phenomenal, His energy, the virtuosity all there. Played 2 sets, over two and a half hours of music. Stuff from the new album and lots of fan favorites. I mean, at this point he’s got a 40 year catalogue to choose from. Terrific backing band, they were having a ball playing and it showed. I liked the bass player Bryan Beller, who plays with Guthrie Govan (if you’re a guitar player, you know who he is) in the Aristocrats. Really enjoyed it, wifey too. Honestly, I leave his shows exhausted just watching him, don’t know how he does it. It’s also great just going out and seeing live music again, good therapy.
