What should we be expecting to happen?

I would hope Searles leaves and replaced by a highly regarded OL coach. Someone known as both a technician and recruiter. I have doubts Richt hires an OC/QB coach and make changes with Brown, Dugans, and Jon Richt.

All jokes and anger aside...I've got to think Richt is smart enough to know at bare minimum two things need to be done.

OL Coach
OC/QBC that is an actual playcaller

My heart and best intentions tell me he makes those moves...the facts and the evidence? well, I guess we'll see.

Lets not forget about special teams. That is a critical phase of each game. I like that we went out and got another scholly punter. That is a start, but STs have been abysmal this year...possibly even worst in school history.

I’m hoping for a new OC and OL coach with the OC implementing a modern, multi-dimensional offense that takes advantage of our athletes and reduces the reliance on near perfect execution in order to be effective.

I’m expecting, at best, a new OL coach who becomes a scapegoat for deeper issues and the narrative becomes “the young pups need to grow up and we will be just fine.”

We will see what actually happens.

I hate to say it, but I could see Richt not getting rid of Stacy Searels. He has been quoted as telling recruits (Bryant) that next year we will have the best O Line since Richt has been here. He is counting on some of his recruits from the past 3 years on O Line to make major leaps in their game and be able to right the ship with who we have, Corch include. I know it's depressing, but the writing is on the wall.

I hope I am 100% wrong on this.

I am not expecting anyone to be fired. I'd put money on a new coach being brought in and then one or two leaving for another school. Then some rearranging to be done.

I don’t expect Searels back.

As for the offense, Richt knows they need changes and is telling people that. The question is what he does. I don’t think any decision has been made on that front.

Everyone who follows football knows we need changes. Espn 2 cluesless broadcasters know it. But given Richts past history.. he’s not going to make a change.

Bad coaches get dropped during the season.

We would of heard something by now.

JR, Searels, Brown, Dugans, Hartley can all take a hike.

In theory, if Richt has a QBC and OC/Playcaller, he can devout more attention to special teams with Hartley.

I think special teams was pretty good over the last two games and Baxa has turned out to be a pretty good kicker. I think he finished 8 for 11 on the year and was solid down the stretch.

Thank god. Searels isn't a fit at all at Miami, not to mention his unit has sucked and gotten worse

It shouldn't of been ignored in the offseason. The coaches and many of the fans were blinded after a fluke 10 win season. Richt's offense barely put up 3 points against the top team in the ACC and they still refused to make any changes. If Blake doesn't force Richt to make changes, they both should be fired. This was nothing short of an embarrassing year for this program. If Richt hires more "yes men" for the offensive staff, he should be fired. The school should pick out a handful of OCs that Richt has to pick from. Richt shouldn't have autonomy in deciding the OC. He has not shown the capability of hiring high-level coaches.
I down voted you just for the part I bolded. If the AD thinks he has to "FORCE" the HC to take a particular action, he should just fire the HC. Forcing him to do anything just means you have the wrong guy. I hope Richt make things right this off-season, but, it should be left up to him. If the changes aren't made, or the results suck, then he should be let go.

Help IS on it's way. 🙌👍

No, I don't think this is true. To me, if anything, it signals what this team could have been with a half decent offense and/or play caller.
