The biggest problem with firing a Manny but leaving Flake in place is we will end up with another no search HC process and probably end up with somebody like a Shia o here even though I’d take Rat Boy over Manny .

I'm sorry, but if you have to "force Manny's hand" to do the right thing, what's the point in keeping him around? If anything, you're just giving him an excuse when the new clowns running the offense are no better than the old clowns running the offense. No, you keep or can a coach based on HIS decisions, not the ones you impose on him.

I’m all for firing Manny right now. Forcing him to hire a new offensive staff doesn’t give him an excuse. He’s gone next year if he doesn’t win regardless.

That same BoT needs to have James and Strawley in the room also. Then after explaining the needed changes to Diaz, they need to look at those two and ask them to justify keeping their jobs because they should have told him to make the changes.

Manny is a bottom of the barrel HC. Beating Manny only proves that you aren’t bottom of the barrel (maybe). So, people boosting coaches who beat Manny are missing an important point. If you want to win big in 21st century college football, you have to aim high in absolute terms. A relative improvement based on Manny won’t cut it.

BOT is a joke , so expecting them to get it right would require a miracle. CMD is gone if he does not retool staff.
Baker, Banda, Patke for starters. Berry and Enos as well.
silver lining on this disaster is that Blake goes as well given his incredibly lazy hire of CMD.
we need a total turnover in BOT and AD dept.... as well as another coaching overhaul.
I am telling you CMD would be great on ESPN, Fox big future in TV.... has mastered the art stating and restating the obvious.....

When did this happen? Are you talking about when Luke Fickell filled in for Jim Tressel? That was temporary and Fickell was kept on the staff when Meyer was hired.
