Look, he's been on a crusade of self-destruction and program destruction, so I don't expect to happen what I am proposing, but this is all we have left in the face of overwhelming ineptitude from the BOT down to Richt and all parties in between.

He would literally, both privately and publicly, apologize to every player that has played for him the last 3 years.

He would need to mend relationships with local high school coaches and recommit to bringing back Cane football.

He would have to relieve his son from all coaching duties.

He would have to fire: Searles

He would have to replace himself with an ACTUAL OC who will bring innovation and aggression to the position.

This person can be the new OC, but however it shakes down, he needs to have a QB coach that knows his head from his butt.

He would need to legitimately place the following coaches on the hot seat with the understanding that if their areas do not statistically improve appreciably over this next season, they WILL be let go. So, they can either improve or they have a solid year to seek employment elsewhere: Brown, Dugans, Hartley, Pattke

Look, I know this won't happen, and I am pretty sure that the heat will be too much for him to survive another season like this, but if he could make his arrogance and selfishness subside enough for Darwinian self-preservation to kick in, he would make a turn around next season. Sadly, we are in for another lame duck season until the BOT's stop being cowardly and actually get an appetite for winning and accountability.

Salvage what?

This poor excuse for a football program?

The only way to solve this is to fire everyone on staff. What a horrible season it was and it all falls on them

I’d spit in his face if he were in front of me right now cause that’s what he’s done to us. He’s heard the fans and has done everything opposite in spite I believe. I hope he has a miserable off season and his legacy will forever be known as a loser who couldn’t win big games and destructing a program on the rise.

I don’t trust Richt to replace himself with anyone with half a f ing brain. The only thing I want to hear is that f*ck has stepped down or has been sh*tcanned. There is no saving himself now. He’s sh*t.

Realistically imo the only way he could salvage this is to win the ACC championship next year and make the playoffs.

I think its past the point of no return and he's a dead man walking. Next year he's looking at 7-5ish again, and fired. Perhaps if he could pull some major staff changes, he might get to 9 wins and get another year. He'd have to hire a really good OC like Mike Yurcich, an new OL coach like the Patriots' Popovic, reassign his son, and get a new DC like Grinch or Raymond.

Q: What Richt would have to do to salvage this AND stay?

A: How about taking a slow drive under an FIU bridge?

Less than 5 wins next year.

Richt has to go. You can’t trust the Pious Poser anymore.

It’s passed the point of no return.
There is nothing he can do.

This is probably true.

And that means after next year we'll get to start the whole cycle over again and most likely end up right back where we are tonight in about 4 or 5 years. That's what it has become.

Unfortunately this is true.
We are almost guaranteed the laziest coaching search in history.
Limited in scope, vision and imagination.

this is a pathetic question and would be like asking some poor ******* what his wife would have to do to salvage the
marriage after she had ****ed his dog, his best friend, the next door neighbor, the old man wearing the yellow vest at the

front door of the local Walmart, the kid that mows the lawn, the paper boy, the mailman, and his alcoholic one-legged
half-brother. then she emptied out the savings account and spent all the money on lottery tickets, wrecked his car and sold
his 1983 national championship Miami Hurricanes team autographed football for 10 dollars.
