“On this date Nov 12, 2017. Following a dominant 41-8 win over Notre Dame to remain undefeated, the Miami Hurricanes ascended to their highest poll position since 2003”- HS
If you were to ask me what the most reposeful, serene and anxiety free morning of the many years of my fandom or at least in the last 10 years, aside from the morning after Al Golden’s firing. I would point to that morning fresh after we kicked ND *** and were ranked #2 in the Nation. The winning streak extended to 9, Twitter was blazing, both FSU & Gator fans were silent, recruits were committing, Paul finebaum looked like an *** and the Rock and several other Alums were ecstatic and pumped. Seemed as if we were headed in the right direction. The painful thing about all of this, is that we were really one component OC away from success with Richt and his tenure . Seeing Manny week after week out-coached, by more experienced coaches makes me wonder the heights CMR and this program could’ve sailed if he decided to stop the nepotism and hire a real OC, O-line and QB coach. It’s Painful knowing that Manny is probably not the guy, at least not for this program at this exact moment, and save your “Dabo was 4-3 and Saban was 7-6 as first year coaches responses.” This quick hire shouldn’t have ever happened, and the fans should not have to endure another 4 years of rebuilding. We don’t owe them that loyalty, MFcker we went through our 4 years of rebuilding with Shannon after Cokers tenure and then 5 with Golden after Shannon’s tenure and then again with Richt after Golden tenure, that’s 12 years of “rebuilding”. I don’t blame Manny, he talked a good game but this is completely on the BOT and was simply irresponsible of Blake James to pull the trigger on hiring a coach who was a few hours away from coaching at Franklin Field. Smfh But buckle up boys Manny is not going to get fired year 1. The most we can hope for is that he cleans house after this season, which he probably wont do since he vouched for most of this guys.
