It's much easier to get a kid that's below 300lbs, to add more weight/strength in college, than it is to get a kid who's already over 300lbs to lose weight.

For our Defensive scheme, I'm taking athletic DT's that can move all day. Everybody wants us to always land these behemoth Jordan Davis types, but we don't run a 3-4 & do not need a Giant NT in order to have a stout running stopping front.

DT & DL in general is a position that usually requires 2-3 years before they're ready to play anyway. People mistakenly believe that every player is supposed to be a starter from day 1 as a TF & that's not the case.

Bain changed me forever, Bain made me change the way I think of DE and DL overall. I cant even look at it the same anymore. Throw back players are better than these super explosive athletes every **** time. Give me the one that grabs you and rag dolls you, thats how every Bama DL was under Saban. They had 4 Bains on the DL every **** year mauling people.
