Hate to do it, but I am rooting against my beloved Canes the rest of the way.

No reason to root for Miami because then Golden comes back and we are mediocre yet again.

It may hurt now, but its like ripping off a bandage. It will only be painful for a second in the long run.

Go Hokies!

6-6 and I think the outcry is too loud to ignore.

I will continue donating 50 bucks for each banner.

7-5 and he's a game off Randy's record in their first 4 years, and has an identical record to the season he was fired.

If he isn't let go, Miami is now a racist institution, and Shalala a Grand Wizard.

the only sane move right now is to hope for us to lose out. thats not likely but i think 6-6 is very likely.

7-5 at best. I think he should be fired regardless, but 6-6 makes it nearly impossible for the admin not to make a move

7-5 or 6-6 will depend on bowl game performance

Man go ***** Urself with that crap!

I root for the Canes to have a strong ending to the season, and Al Golden won't be as unattractive as he was when the Penn State gig opened up. What did Golden win or how did he do in Miami before seeking that PSU job? What was his resume before asking his alma mater to hire him? Not much!

Al still wants to leave (worse kept secret) so the best way for him to go is for him to now have a fine season, appear like he's done a fine job with the Canes in spite of the "Cloud", and how he fought through it. Of the Utmost, I want my Hurricane players end on a strong winning note.

5-7 with a conference record of 2-6 will definitely get him fired.

I would like to think 6-6 would do it, but with a lame duck president and athletic director, I doubt it.

F/A/G will never sniff another major HC job. LMAO at you

I'm not even sure Temple would take him back now

Surprise. Your rooting or not will not have any effect on the outcome of any game.

8-4 should get him canned. With the apathetic idiots who run our athletic department, I think 6-6 is our best bet. 7-5 is good enough for them from the vibe that's being given.

From what I've gathered from the admin, 6-6 makes it a 50-50 shot with the edge towards him getting fired.

thats why I'm hoping we lose every game. ***c it. who gives a **** about winning some meaningless ACC games if it means being stuck with F/A/G another year.

you think this year is bad, I cant imagine how bad it would be next year if by some miracle this ******* is still here

Unfortunately, Golden is a good salesman. I believe it is all dependent on how we perform in the remaining games. Not so much record wise. We have three home games and two away games left. If we are competitive in the remaining games including the FSU game I believe the admin would keep him around even at 6-6.

@VT - L
UNC - W
FSU - L
@UVA - L
Pitt - W

It would take more of a collapse of a 5-7 or 4-8 type of finish before the admin would consider a change.

If the Canes win 4 of the remaining 5 games, then Al Golden get a reprieve for a one-way ticket to a new Football town.

The Board was not too unhappy that he was trying to leave, considering all he left on the table here at the U. IF, and the operative word is IF, if Golden wins a chunk of games, before a potential a bowl game, the man is out of here...on his own accord. WORD! You can vault that.

I think he comes back next year regardless. However, I think he's at Muschamp status at that point. 8-4 and no Coastal..... ehhh. 7-5 and he's gone.

What got Shannon fired in his 4th year? If that doesn't get Folden fired, then UM will have proven my theory correct--they are a racist corrupt organization.
