What Real Leadership Looks Like

Listen, if u go back & read Frenk’s (or the admin’s) statement in regards to Miami football, it’s incoherent b/c it’s not concise. It’s not concise, b/c they don’t know how to properly address anything w/o pointing the fingers at themselves.

If u let a person talk long enough, they’ll expose themselves. Well, if u have an admin who writes a novel pertaining to a simple matter, they’ll expose themselves. How Khan handled this was short, brief, to the point, where everything was dignified & it’ll soon be a non-issue one way or another.

What The University did was dig up a subject, put themselves in the limelight, right before a game where results were pending. So now, the light is glaring on you to make good on the jibberish u published. The University of Miami is trying to sell its fans, local & national media, and its boosters a lemon of a program, attempting to dress it up as a premiere program. Hence, u see a big difference between competent programs’ statement regarding an issue vs. ours.

You can set your watch by this...

...if you open a thread by a blowhard pontificating on "leadership" and "management" by Frenk or James, you can pretty much guarantee a football-knowledge-free diatribe, and that Porsts 1a and 1b are going to come from the brain trust who claimed that Tad Foote was unfairly victimized and that Marcus Lemonis is the alpha voice on the BOT (and whose Tweets are pretty much official pronouncements of UM policy).

Oh, and that one of those porsts will be edited throughout the day to look not-quite-as-bad as when it was first porsted...

Unfortunately, some people wouldn't know what leadership was, even if they were led out of slavery by Moses. Smh

She’s not hot enough for all this and my standards are pretty low. Straight to the booty hole? Come on, Urb

Lol "Leadership"

Since he bought the team their record is 37-109... they've had 4 head coaches and have had 9 double digit losing seasons...they've finished 1st in their division once

He wouldn't have put out any statement whatsoever if this wasn't talked about all over ESPN, NFL network, Radio etc.... this is damage control nothing more and nothing less

I think the impact of the tone and content is being conflated, incorrectly, with W-L record, moving to London, Jax is a shïthole, media coverge, blah, blah, blah. He (or somebody) recognizes it isn't that Urby was finger banging some skankola in a bar, it is the face of his franchise, his LEADER of a big asset in his empire, was so galactically stupid as to do this in a public setting with all the eyes on him 24/7. If he displays this lack of common sense, what else is he failing at?

People either get this concept, or they don't.

Regardless, Khan's release today is what real leaders* do, agree with or disagree with notwithstanding.

*It does/does not make him overall a good one, it's just a point

Yes he had to put out a statement that's all it is... a statement... because your right its negative attention being brought upon his winless franchise.

Attention brought on from the head coach he hired... so yes, hes embarrassed.

And in this day in age with everyone being "outraged" at everything the talking heads at ESPN are all over this as is the NFL Network, other media outlets as well.

but lets just call this what it is... another thread to sh*t on Manny, Blake and Frenk which was the point in it being made

eeehhhhhh.... very fair point, but actually not what my primary intention was. Just a very distinct contrast in Khan's mesaaging than what we have seen from our beloved, and floundering, Canes.

Again though, you kinda aren't wrong...

If Urbie wins their next 4 games in a row there could be footage of him finger banging a goat in a Tijuana whorehouse and Shad Khan wouldn't say ****. This is just a CYA move in case he decides to eventually fire him or so he doesn't look like a complete cuck if Urbie just quits.
I dont think goats like that.
