What off season change do you want?

So many different opinions, looking for a consensus.

  • Clean house. Richt and staff all need to be let go.

  • Fire Richt and the Offensive coaches. Promote Manny to Head Coach

    Votes: 9 7.5%

  • Keep Richt. Force him to hire an Offensive Coordinator and Special Teams coordinator.

    Votes: 65 54.2%

  • No Changes at all. Richt and staff deserve another year.

    Votes: 2 1.7%

  • Keep Richt. Fire Searels and hire a new O-Line coach

The teams attitude starts at the top. So he takes all the blame (and the glory).

If Mork hires a homerun OC and gives that person free reign like Manny, than I am for him staying. If not, he can turn in his resignation along with the other offensive coaches he personally hired. After 3 years, he has failed badly with these offensive coaches.

This and take Hartley off special teams and give Rumph another year. Hasn’t pulled his weight recruiting since he’s been here and DB’s haven’t been anything special this year.

No excuse for having such little depth at corner. I understand we have some freshman that may be ready next year. But we have played this season with only 2 P5 ready corners all year and Bandy has been forced to play out of position. That Henderson miss was huge amongst others.

It'd be easy to let go of Thomas Brown, he currently has 0 running backs committed. He's found a way to lose a kid who was committed for over a year, to a school that offered last week, and has us trailing for 2 legacies. Embarrassing effort

The fact that he's let Manny run the kind of hyper-aggressive D that he has (a departure from his time at UGA) does give me a little hope. If we could just get him past the idea that he can run the offense himself. Once he accepts that, who knows. If he hired a guy like Briles from Houston it could save his career and reputation. But an OC like that would need free reign, choosing his own OL coach, etc.

I've never liked his dumb ***. He always answers the media's questions like he played for Belichek/Patriots. Like he was Saban's GOAT RB. It was rumored that this fckn fool would only come with Richt to UM if he had the OC title...lmao. This dipshiit can pack his shiit.
 
If we have to keep Richt, hire a stud OC and FORCE Richt to leave him alone and do his job. Oh, and make sure he’s also a QB coach so we can unload Jonny Rotten. Let him go sniff some other football program or he can count Daddy’s millions but I want him off my football team. Fire Searels and hire a new OL Coach. Make Brown the ST coach and just have Hartley recruit and manage the TE’s. Leave the defensive side of the ball be, and hopefully Manny wants to continue after all the wholesale changes.

If Richt doesn’t like these changes, well then too bad. He’s got 2 options as I see it - put up with it and run the team as the CEO or turn in his walking papers. I’d be perfectly happy if he did.

Another thing you have to keep in mind is Young’s injury. Obviously is no ones fault but that was a huge blow to this db unit. He’d be our best db this year.

How much is it that, or the fact that Richt makes them play the upperclassmen only? I agree, Bandy is completely out of position and should hopefully move back to the slot next season. Where’s Hall, Frierson, Blades, etc? I’m sure there is talent there but they won’t play until the older players are gone.
 
Number 1 is Searles shouldn't even have the honor of finishing the season....

I believe a grad asst who watches youtube videos on how to coach up an Oline can do a better job than searles

Second to that is hire a **** OC

And the scary part is this is 3rd on the list but hire a **** STs dedicated coach

Fair point. I had forgotten about Youngs injury. But still. He the depth issue isnt a problem that came out fo nowhere. Its been three years in the making.

Agreed next year could be a disaster in the secondary especially at safety where you don’t have any proven guys and are down to Hall, Carter, Smith, and Knowles. Hoping Knowles isn’t staying another year.
 
There needs to be several changes
1. offensive coordinator
2. Qb coach
3.Oline coach
4.Special teams coach
5.Get a better linebacker coach.
Assuming we get an oline coach and whoever the qb coach is will likely call the plays

Dugans, brown , Hartley(only as a tight end coach)can stay on offense


We seriously need to upgrade our coaching staff in terms coaching ability in addition to recruiting ability because imo it’s lacking. Storm 18 class was nice but we didn’t close the way we wanted to and the surge 19 class looks paltry right now let’s just be real about the situation. Miami shouldn’t be ranked 20 plus something right now in recruiting
