What needs to happen this year...

I'm sure a lot of us know that winning will cure the exodus of South Florida athletes to the
the SEC. But this is the most important season for Miami to turn the page under Al Golden
and this staff. One sign of this defense looking like the last 2 seasons and Coach D needs
to kick rocks.

Most kids now days want to be on the best team, they don't give a sh@t about Miami's past.
They want to play for a contender now. It's just the cold, hard truth. No coaches should be
comfortable if this team is not in the ACC title game. Mediocrity must end this season.

Heres the thing, winning would cure a lot, this is a bandwagon town, miami has always been that, so you need to win and win consistently, if not empty stadium, no atmosphere and that is used against you in recruiting, winning consistenrly also makes you trendy and a majority of the kids like to fo with the trendy school, now for the big recruits he needs to change his approach and do whatever you need to do to get them, we arent goin to get all of them but we should be getting a decent amount of them

Don't get embarassed on national TV, if we're lucky enough to go to a bowl game this year...Still have nightmares of our coaches not figuring out what to do with Louisvilles' stand up defense...Every kid in America knew to go No-huddle and snap it while they were milling around trying to confuse us..Four quarters we used the same snap signal, which Louisville picked up in our 1st poesession. On defense they knew what was coming but we never changed it up...

Seems like in order to combat the SEC, what we really need is a group of boosters, who have a serious code of omertà.

No paper trail and no loose lips.

It's not all about winning, it also seems to be largely about getting paid.

The only time Mississippi wins is with a Manning, so how do you explain top classes for them?

Same thing with Georgia. People talk about them as if they are always winning NC's, but they haven't won wince Herschel.

Tennessee? Arkansas? South Carolina? Texas AM? Auburn?

Put them all together and we've won more NC's than them combined.

Alabama and LSU are different animals.

They are paying top dollar and we can't compete, especially now with the NCAA royally ****ed they couldn't death penalty us.

LAST YEAR was the year to show something and we did. we showed that our coaching staff is in over their heads and the fact that no changes were made on defense was a nail in the coffin for this year both on the field and recruiting.
