What would change your mind about current staff:

  • Keep if they win out the rest of the season including beating Clemson or Wake for the ACC

I’d stop thinking they are dishonest frauds if they had gender reassignment surgery so their exterior matched their ***** made insides.
 
It wouldn't change my opinion of them, but if BJ and MD resigned right now, they'd have my respect.

I voted the second option, drastic improvement and getting best talent on the field. As a long time Hurricane fan I've always expected maximum effort and let the chips fall where they may. That has been missing for a long time, not just under Diaz. If our team gets back to maximum effort then the best team will win. Lately we face better teams but losing to bad teams is painful, especially when our best is not in the game and our guys quit. Our great teams lost games but never from lack of talent or effort. With TVD and our youth I can see we might get better effort and that will lead to future success. I wish Garcia had not gotten hurt, love to see what he can do when necessary. Our youth is our future and we have young talent..play them and let then chips fall where they may but continuing to play failures that don't seem to give effort is discouraging. I want to see our existing group grow and changing coaches AGAIN would be too disruptive and, like Tennessee many will hit the portal.

Since it was an option, I went with playing the best players and seeing drastic improvement. Now, I don't THINK we will see that, so the reality is far, far closer to the last option that is running away with it. I want to see improvement, and honestly that is all I ever want to see. Just show me a team that is getting better. Noticeably better. Instead of losing by 30 to Alabama, show me a team that fights hard and keeps it within 10. THAT is improvement. Show me a team that beats everyone on their schedule they should beat. THAT is improvement. Show me a team that can win the Coastal and put up a huge fight in the title game. THAT is improvement. Show me a team that shows up prepared for a bowl game. Again, improvement. Show me good QB play from our young QBs. Show me a team that can attack all parts of the field. Show me a D that can get stops on 3rd and 12. Just improve, **** it, or get the living **** out of Miami.
 
Since I have seen NO EVIDENCE of 1,2, and/or 5 happening. I voted “seen enough”. Let’s just hope at this rate, we beat a horrible *** FSU team. I would love to be proven wrong, by this bunch winning the ACC, or showing drastic improvements, but I just can’t see it.

The main ones that will be hitting the portal due to a coaching change are the upper class JAGS. Good riddance.

The young guys will be the ones leaving if Manny stays.
 
I think at this point the story has been told, its time. Even if he were a good coach (he is not), there is a point where its just too damaged and a fresh start for all parties is required. Public opinion has gone negative, the environment is getting toxic and the dirty snowball is only growing.

Its time to just pull the plug and put everyone out of their misery. Give me something to be hopefull for. Let me slurp again god damnit
