Here We Go Again GIF

Same porsters with the same schtick.

You think that's something?

Same posters support consistent dumbass coach hirings one after another - with the same ****poor results.

Clappy? As Butch's guys graduated, so did our team - and we were a dumpster fire his fifth year.

Radar? Four more wasted years.

Golden? Another four years - wasted!

Richt? Three years of disappointment - but we got an indoor practice facility - FINALLY.

Diaz? A twenty minute coaching search - and we're right back where we were at the end of Clappy's experiment.

Just remember one thing - we can't/won't afford an NFL grade coach like Saban or Urban . . . proven - unless . . .

This math is wrong

It’s actually $13.3m as HC. If we were to include his salary as a DC, even though it wasn’t fully disclosed, I’m going to assume it was around the $400k/yr mark. Why, u say? Well, in case ya’ll didn’t know, when we hired Diaz as a DC back in 2016, there was a $265k buyout. Why? Well, when Diaz was given a 2nd opportunity at a P5 gig, this is what he stated:
“ I told Dan this is the last defensive coordinator job I ever want to take. It’s the last defensive coordinator job I ever intend to take. You have goals in terms of what you want to do. You have goals in terms of where you want to be, and this is it. This is where I want to coach defense. This is why, and again working out the contract stuff with Scott (Stricklin), we want to make sure that we made a pretty big statement that I want to be the defensive coordinator at Mississippi State. That’s why we all wanted this. That was an issue with all of us to make sure that is what we wanted, and nobody flinched.”

So Miss St signed him to a nice, tenured contract, in which this weasel bolted at the first sign. So yeah, we’re hovering in the $16m mark this dude has cost us since 2016.

Random thought, but on subject; Just so we’re clear, do we realize for the last 3 HOME GAMES, we’ve given up 900 rushing yards on only 134 carries? That’s 6.7 ypc at home, facing all 3 star RBs.

Smh.

Maybe some of the old heads can help me out, but do u recall anytime in Miami’s history we’ve given up close to 1000 yrds in only 3 games at home?

Both Parties??....as I said...Butch has Zero interest...if UM had any sense...they should have "atleast" hired him as a consultant after he left UNC and couldn't coach for 3yrs (per his buyout agreement)...
right now its in best interest for both parties to look somewhere else, yes.

butch is already somewhere else, where i suppose that he is happy.

He's very content....Why not??...he evaluated, recruited and developed the Greatest collection of talent in NCAA History...

The sad thing is that Butch would have stepped in at any of those inflexion points and turned this program around.... no, these f00ls would rather cut off their noses to spite their faces.
.... we have absolute inept, imbecile retards running this university ... from the BoT downwards

butch is also on the verge of 70...

there are plenty of targets we should be going after. we should have hired butch 10 years ago, that ship is gone now tho

Two things can be true.
1. Butch could do the job well.
2. It ain't happening.

UM has bread they just scared to pony up cause they themselves are unsure of their own hires. They get swindled in those interview rooms and let their emotions get in the way of making the best hire
Mullen is the most glaring example. That was clearly an emotional decision.
