Summer - beaches sipping on ****tails and partying on the Intracoastal hitting different restaurants and bars in FL while boating.

Fall - enjoying weather change here in Northern Illinois hitting food festivals and watching football at local bars drinking craft beers.
Puffing a Cigar on a good night and sipping on a glass of American made bourbon reflecting on life.
Firing up the vette and roaring down country roads listening to that V8 scream while shifting through gears.

Guess the jobs I used to do, making stuff that keep American Soldiers safe while they deliver other stuff that completely obliterates terrorists.
Cruising around in my Mustang with the top down
Watching my boys get married and having strong relationships with their wives and seeing the daughter just get up and go work for Disney since last August shortly after she graduated
Just providing for my family and getting to ride this roller coaster we call life, with my wife who for some reason saw something in me that I really can’t figure out, lol
Many more things but those are just some of the things, in no particular order.

Free speech and the ability to politically dissent. I do not believer there is anything more American than saying what you want with no fear of repercussion.
Or to put it another way, what makes me feel most American is the First Amendment to the US Constitution and using it. This is, IMO, what sets Americans apart from all other people, and it is our belief in the Constitution which is really the only thing we all have in common.

A big-time College Football game with fans in the stadium and people watching on TV losing their minds

Ain't nothin' like like it

Thanksgiving: sitting down for the Cowboys or Lions game with a giant turkey leg from a turducken after munching on fried turkey all morning

GENTLEMAN START YOUR ENGINES at the beginning of the Great American race in February (nod to @Trinton Breeze)

The inaugural Presidential address by any President

Watching my son's graduation with his fellow Marines on Paris Island with the bugels. Its not just the humidity of that island. You can just feel the history in the air

Friday night at your high school football stadium

Seeing the buffalo driving through Yellowstone

The Grand Tetons

Attending my first large quincenarra with my wife and my bald white head being a foot and half taller than the 600 people in the convention center

Drinking my grandmother's sweet tea after church

Mowing the yard with a shotgun slung over my shoulder when I was 16

This was an awful moment in modern American history. An assassination attempt on a candidate for president.

Our country has such a long, rich history. I find it shameful that my countrymen should draw inspiration from this moment in particular, above all other moments.
