What is your favorite Cane thing that is personal recollection not common.

1998 Jorge Gaitan’s onside kick and recovery against FSU. Unfortunately the next play, play action pass to a wide open Sanata Moss and he dropped it. Either way, a lot of people have forgotten the greatest onsides kick in our history.

Semper Canes!!!

My favorite memories were from when I was in the Marines from 1990 to 1995. No matter where I was, wetter it was on the West Coast in camp Pendleton or if I was on the ship or if I was somewhere overseas.
. If the canes were playing everyone seemed to be a canes fan. I know a lot of people today seem to think that that’s impossible but it’s true I’ll never forget being in the barracks and every time Miami made a good play every time we scored a touchdown and made a big hit you can hear everybody screaming. We had Cane fans all over the country. Black white and Hispanic. I never thought that being in San Diego California I would be in a barracks with 300 Marines where most of them were pulling for the canes

Some of my fondest memories...

Lee Corso acting a fool on Gameday in 98 punching a Sebastian doll prior to the game. Then Edge taking over.

Tremain Mack at WVU.

Carlos Jones pick.

Jacory and the W at FSU in 2009.

Corn Elder. Duh.

McGahee screen vs FSU in ‘02 and his game vs VT that year.

This memory is not a happy one but it will stick with me always. I forget the year (late 60s or early 70s) we were playing West Virginia. Canes were winning as the game was winding down to the end. We had the Mountaneers pinned down on their own 1 yard line with seconds left in the game.

What happened would be more apropos for this past season. The WV QB throws a pass to their best receiver who was named Danny "Lightning" Buggs. Well, in all too Cane fashion he caught the ball and rambled 99 yards down the field as time ran out giving WV the win.

You live long enough you see history repeat itself.

Having to work and not being able to go to the UF game in 2003. But I did get out of work just in time to see us mount our comeback — and relay the awesomeness to my friends who had gone to the game but left early and were now stuck on the metro rail

I actually think it was a WR screen. Barrow just beat the OL to the spot and we all know what happened next. One of the greatest hits in our history would’ve be a penalty today
Mine was in the late '80s when I went to a practice and saw and heard Leonard Conley talk and make jokes and get his team loose and practice like I've never seen.

The first wide right. playing pop warner football against Imokalee that day. Lots of us huddled around a portable TV with a 4” screen (hi tech for that day). Ran away screaming like a madman when we won. Good times

Someone mentioned Tremain Mack and WVU. Still one of my favorites and proof anything can happen.

I remember the dejected feeling when Cory Schlesinger rumbled for his second TD

DJ Williams drawing a flag for taunting the sidelines after destroying someone on the Vtech sidelines in 05 maybe. I knew right then and there we were winning that mom

Devin Hester punt return sparking the Louisville comeback

Wow. Great call. That onside kick was great, then the bomb! And 6 dropped it. Air right out of the sails. He booted it off some dudes backside right?

Ahhh Leonard. He was before his time as a player IMo. Not many people knew what to do with him after Miami but **** was he a good *** ball player. I think he would kill it in today’s game. Tyrek hill/Percy Harvin type. Back then people didn’t know if he was a running back or WR.

Just get him the ball. He had a successful Arena career. Especially as an LB. just a pure “football player”

Brock Berlin vs UF.

Mike Barrow vs FSU.

Jon Vilma vs Nebraska.
