Mine has to be sitting in the Orange Bowl in 1984 and going crazy when the ****huskers fail on the 2-pt attempt as Miami won our 1st National Championship. The rest of the night after that was a blur after much celebrating and too many adult beverages.

Same. Has to be the 2-point conversion result against Nebraska. I wasn't fortunate enough to be there. I was at my college roommate's house in Irvine, jumping up and down in nervous energy alongside the pool table.

It has been a packed house earlier in the day but most of them were gamblers who bet on Nebraska -11.5 or thereabouts, so they had long given up and departed. I think only 5 or 6 of us were still there to watch the finish.

Until that night I didn't know what my roommate's sister looked like. I heard she was dating a player from the California Angels. After seeing her I didn't have to ask why. California blonde whose chest was always two rooms ahead of the one she was standing in.

Storming the field in 98 after UCLA win.

Felt like the storm clouds were parting and we were finally turning the corner after the down years from sanctions.

Getting to stand on the sidelines with my Pop at practices as a child. Practices were open then. Needless to say, this is one of the many reasons I'm grateful for my dad and why I have been a Canes fan since the 60s.

Sitting in the stands at the OB ,can't recall the year Miami vs West Virginia (Jeff Hostetler) . There was a big build up to the game
Lot of hype for Hoss Power. There was a fan in front of us yelling for Mountaineers . We began blowing out the ears and this fan decked out in
WV gear, at halftime pulled off his WV shirt and under it was a Miami shirt. He then began cheering for the canes saying I didn't drive 1200 miles to lose. Many other memories.

Easily the first NC against Nebraska. Being a Cane fan, there is a boatload of great memories. But that is my best because it was out of the blue. My brother and I were already 30-year fans at that point, and he said "It can't get any better than this. Everything after this is gravy."

84 game by far. Bunch of Huskers were staying at hotel across the street from us and I had spent three days taking Canes with no points and getting 2-1 & 3-1 with a couple 4-1 bets with them. Hotel manager was a friend and he held the money. That was greatest college game ever and buying drinks for those stunned Husker fans afterwards was was a little like a good old Irish wake. King was dead and new one was crowned. Dropped a good $1000 back on the drinks but they were classy fans back then.

I have so many I don't know where to begin. As a tie:

1) Being a young child and really down that Michigan was beating us in the 80s out to eat with my mom and then coming home and finding out we won
2) The Tremain Mack blocked punt with Nate Brooks against WVU in '97. I remember screaming when it happened and btw, he was an incredibly underrated player.
3) Pick a wide right/wide left
4) Edge taking over the UCLA game was surreal. Legendary performance
5) The Langham catch against FSU was amazing and the FSU faces after were priceless

I totally agree! Sitting in that west end zone and the place just erupting after Nebraska failed on the 2 point conversion. **** I miss those days and the OB.
