What is this Locker room "have fun while your doing it". Appreciate the motivation but it's f****** garbage. Cinematic recap.

C'mon man. I know he's one of our position coaches but f****** a dude.

Look, my 6'2+ white *** did dunk contest's in high school. Monkey lifted 485 for 3-4 reps on the D. Total lift natural was at about 1200 lb. For reps.

Our basketball team only lost about three to four games over two seasons. We only lost to Getty Park Sacramento. They have produced some pros.

Point is is that the expectation of upper Junior high to high school to college level is that you work your way to being a f****** pro. You may not make pro,
but you take everything seriously and it's like a f****** job.

Playing, having fun for the game it means you f****** hit stick and bust ****. Wins feel much better than an L. Think Michael Jordan. There's a reason why he would crush it in the fourth quarter.

Our team needs to understand to f****** seriously want to win and don't put it in anybody's hands. Jimmie Johnson era .

I Do you appreciate the sport, I know that some of y'all athletes will get what I'm saying.

Miami has to go back........... to where you f****** beat the mother f****** *** of the other opponent until they're pulp.

You take a nap.

FIrst of all we all

We are all Canes.

Second, it is a game. I would throw down for you for you. Respect to all served.

My thread start is about mentiity.

Yes, yes, I agree - we're all Canes.

Here's the thing - harsh positions are like toilet paper rife with splinters that you can read a newspaper through.

I think many of us have seen Jimmy pump up the guys who would almost tear the door off getting out there - but there was no anger in his tone. Just adrenalized, measured volume.

When mushmouth was coach at Arkansas - and I think they were playing Oklahoma - he did the same thing - and at the conclusion declared, "Last 11 out there have to start!"

It's to be fun on gameday. When things come easy - flexibility is ready to take advantage of every opportunity - because it's fun.

I don't know who says what pre-game at UM - but they really, REALLY suck. We come out and play like we're facing a firing squad.

Whoever it is - they need to shut their stupid mouth and stay out of the locker room. They're like a black hole that sucks everything positive in the room.

Asc chewing - and instruction should have been done long before gameday.

We worked out in preparation - where all the former star athletes that thought they would do well in Special Ops - were the first ones to drop out.

Work all week. Save the fun for gameday.

Our coaches just strangle our players - mentally.

You seem to think that that the craziest, most fearless, intense team wins all football games. They don't... If they can't set the edge.
It's a game of intensity AND control. If you think too much, you are not fast enough (as fast as you could be). Think too little and you are out of position. Getting 11 guys to perform at their highest level is not all about who is the most fired up.

I totally agree with you and I woke up this morning thinking that.

For me the fun was being on the team and the ball busting and jaw jacking in the locker room and having laughs. Getting through really tough practices and then when it came to actually playing the game it was like a release of pressure.

But it was fun in a way. There really is not much sense in doing anything if you can't have some fun.

I still understand why I posted the topic in the thread like I did. But, I will be objective and understand that, again playing a sport should be fun. Or anything really.

Cheers to you, and let's go Canes! I do think we will win today, I'm just not sure if we're going to cover the spread.
