Does anyone know how long it takes to hire an OC? Diaz hired Baker within a week as DC. It seems like this OC hiring is dragging out longer than expected. Diaz keeps making excuses about the OC hire. He said he had 3 finalist, so why is it taking so long to choose between 3 guys?

This is playing out exactly as Manny said during his press conference. He said the DC hire would be quick and that they would take their time on the OC hire to get it right, and that there were outside factors that influenced the timeline for the hire.

As one esteemed CIS poster said in another thread, Manny is just trickling out names into social media to gauge fans' reactions to the candidates. Manny will then make a heat-map of each candidates' social media reception, effectively choosing an OC by way of crowd-sourcing. I think we can all agree this demonstrates "woke" thinking on his part and therefore must be it.

WTF is the difference? He’ll hire who he hires, when he hires him. If it’s a good hire or bad hire, nobody cares if it’s yesterday tomorrow or next week.
