Move us back 1 (probably). Kennedy the DT is outMoved up to 8 in On3 rankings. Just a smidge behind Texas. Another blue chipper and we’re up to 7. Very impressive class

Bad form. What's everyone’s thoughts on taking a kids commitment and then later pulling it. I know they flip on schools all the time so idk..
Bad form.
This penchant for fretting over rankings is crazy. We have a top, solid class. The larger issue comes down to evaluations & filling needs. At this point, no reason not to trust Mario & staff.
As far as the athletes go: Cantwell, Parris, Mueller, Spafford, Waters, Dunnigan, and Stancil are the ones who I immediately think of as the most impressive athletes in the class.I'm a little mixed on this class. Love the quality of depth and that we're now #8/9 overall and #10 average rating (maybe improve there with Kennedy out?).
But I don't see the transformational freaks of nature outside of Cantwell. Do we have any Bains, K. Scotts and Toneys who flip the field? Maybe Wingo can be that guy at WR1 and Mueller at TE?
I agree. If there were metrics (academic, weight training) that are tied to his development and he fails to accomplish those, then in my view the agreement no longer applies.I agree in general. But Mario gives a kid a senior plan. If they're not following through, don't you feel it's also on the recruit? We haven't dropped anyone who was injured, only those who underperformed to expectation.

Disappointed with an 8th ranked class? Odd take. Were you disappointed with the 14th ranked class last year? The staff has fine tuned their evaluation skills. This class is not good enough. Not even close. I’m disappointed in the staffs efforts this year on the trail. This class doesn’t move the needle or make us better.
Another way to look at it - we’re losing better talent from the outgoing class at the end of the year than we’re bringing in this class. That’s due to the lack of top end guys
Like I said, I'm mixed. I agree with you that I worry the guys turning pro are going to be very hard to replace. But I think we need to look at this in the review mirror in 2028 to 2030 to truly "know" how good or bad it is. It's not like Toney was national elite recruit according to his ranking. Bain was ranked 71st by 247, so he was considered really good but not the elite player he's become. This class is not good enough. Not even close. the outgoing recruiting class is Wes and CooperThis class is not good enough. Not even close. I’m disappointed in the staffs efforts this year on the trail. This class doesn’t move the needle or make us better.

What makes someone a top end guy? 2024 class was composite ranked 4th. Top 12 players in that class were Scott, Blount, Lightfoot, and Pickett on DL. All good. The three wr class of trader, carr and Robinson. All hurt or complete non factors. Patterson stunk so much he transferred out. Lofton been average at best. Jones and hayes not playing. And last is lyle. Banged up and passed by a true freshmen. Two years ago you probably loved this class. How many of them are "top end" guys? Reality is the 13th ranked class of 2025 is out producing it with the top "ranked" guy lowe not even playing this year. The 2026 class could be really good or crap. No one knows and to say with absolute you do is beyond a dumb take. You say team is losing better talent from outgoing class than incoming. Exactly what talent from the 2022 class are we losing? How ever can Miami replace Wes and annez. Mesidor was a transfer like most of the seniors and they will be replaced by more transfers. Cici and Bain leaving early is a good thing. Players leaving early is the reputation you want. Would be a black eye if these guys had to stay 4 years. This class is not good enough. Not even close.
