What is one game that you guys can see as a trap-game?

Cal is the trap game.

Hopefully Bama beats the crap out of USF physically.

GT is a tough physical team, but they beat us last year. There will be no trap there.

UL and FSU are conference foes and the toughest games on our schedule.

Cuse could be sneaky tough as well. TEs have given us headaches for the past 20 years and they have an all-American type u there.

Most any game becomes a trap if your head isn't where it should be. The rat poison can get you. Stay hungry my friends.

At this point FSU is a trap game. They suck, little doubt about that - but they will still come down here and play with their hair on fire. They seem to get more amped up to play us at HRS than they do at Doak

GT. They seem to have the 2nd best trenches (behind us) in the ACC. I'm sure Clemson's DL is better than GT's, but GT's OL is better than Clemson's and we don't play the Tigers in the regular season.

Unless we have an ungodly amount of key injuries, we should have the depth and talent to withstand the occasional underperformance and still come out on top.

I say GT is our trap game, but I genuinely believe that we'll be 12-0 in the regular season and probably 13-0 once we win the ACCCHGM .

I have no idea who we'll pull in the first round of the playoffs that we play, but if we win the ACC, then we chill during the first round. I don't know if this would qualify as a trap game, but we could play an underrated, but highly talented team and they could catch us believing our own hype.
100%,
The game at GT, is definitely one we have to go in and beat the **** out of these guys, after what happened last season.

Considering Louisville won the Coastal last year, beat Miami and made the ACC title game, the Cards aren't a "trap game".

South Florida is your proverbial trap game; one week before ACC play kicks off with a Friday night showdown against Virginia Tech—while lulled to sleep wit FAMU and Ball State the next two weeks.

Some of y'all are missing the point of "trap game", which is overlooking what you feel to be an inferior opponent and not taking them seriously.

Considering Miami got embarrassed on nationally television by Georgia Tech–turning it over five times and losing on two quick plays after the non-kneel—again, not a trap game.

South Florida a week before Virginia Tech—after FAMU and Ball State; trap game.

Senior Day at home a week later against Wake Forest—after Georgia Tech and before a season-ending road trip to Syracuse; trap game.

Miami has a milion and one reasons to take out some frustrations on Louisville and Georgia Tech this fall.

Louisville is really good that isnt a trap, that is a tough road game.

@Cal because of Travel.

FSU, can never take a rival lightly.

GT is a tough toad game because they have a good offense, and good OL.

Anyone notice the remaining road games are against our toughest opponents?

@ul ranked 2-0

We are 2 games in. You are DOING too much to your own brain lol.

I expect it to be tough at all those places when we show up. It should look good on TV.

Cal winning at auburn was good for us imo. Tough to sleep on them when they are going on the road and beating SEC teams. Mario should be able to use that to keep our guys motivated.
