What is one game that you guys can see as a trap-game?

Maybe it’s semantics but “tough game” and “trap game” are not the same to me

USF is after two bye weeks basically there’s zero percent chance we get “trapped”

Doesn’t mean it will be an easy game

GT. They seem to have the 2nd best trenches (behind us) in the ACC. I'm sure Clemson's DL is better than GT's, but GT's OL is better than Clemson's and we don't play the Tigers in the regular season.

Unless we have an ungodly amount of key injuries, we should have the depth and talent to withstand the occasional underperformance and still come out on top.

I say GT is our trap game, but I genuinely believe that we'll be 12-0 in the regular season and probably 13-0 once we win the ACCCHGM .

I have no idea who we'll pull in the first round of the playoffs that we play, but if we win the ACC, then we chill during the first round. I don't know if this would qualify as a trap game, but we could play an underrated, but highly talented team and they could catch us believing our own hype.

As happy as I am with the win, you have to have perspective. TBH the start of the FAMU game will tell us a bit about our mentality. As I mentioned previously that's the type of team we come out flat against and make it look more difficult than it should be. It's easy to get jacked up for Florida on the road, but at home against FAMU is another story.
That's what made/makes Bama so great for so long. They would come out and be up 28-0 in the first and Saban was screaming like it was the title game.

Spot on about the "tough game" and "trap game." I don't think this is a trap game at all, but I do think it will be a tough game. I'm more worried about this one than I was the Florida game. I think we are better and will win the game, but I can see this being a more difficult game than Florida.

USF wasn't terrible last year and played Bama tough. Maybe that's why some of us, myself included, think this is no gimmie. They do play Bama this coming weekend, so we will know a little more about them after that game.
