What if

I whole hearted believe that Al Golden will never be the head coach of a football team that doesn't include No D as DC. I believe that Penn State was ready to offer Golden the HC position there on the condition that NO D was not welcomed and they would help Al select a proper DC. Point being is this if Al wouldn't leave his friend behind for his dream job he won't leave him now. It sucks because from a leadership standpoint Al could be the guy but he needs really talent ppl around him.

This. At least I pray this would happen. Fat chance though, unfortunately. On second thought, now is the time he'd be most likely to do it. His beloved U giving him a second chance in the college ranks. It's a win - win for him. Either we turn around and he's picked up by another school, or he's the clear cut favorite to take over when golden's fired. Just sayin, it's worth breaching with him.
 
In the latest "The Work" Peter mentioned that he didn't think Coach D would be back next season. I guess we will see.
 
i have a hard time believing that golden will go down with the ship and i believe he will be pressured to change the DC and others. the most likely scenario? the DC resigns in order to avoid putting golden in a difficult spot.
