Possibly he stays for the 2024 season…Miami ups the NIL as he’s the best option versus Jacurri and the others. But unless he gets injured in Miami as he did in Wisconsin, he’s out of eligibility for 2025.

Of course if there was no portal we likely would have signed more out of HS and likely gone even harder after more top recruits, as more money is freed up.
If there was no Portal, I'd bet we'd have a top 5 ranked QB recruit on this roster by now.

That’s the wild card. How resources gets prioritized in a portal less era. Presuming we would be going hard after a blue chip HS QB…or might have even tried to match Florida on the Rashada deal.

The orange listing shows not only the players who would have theoretically stayed, but their transfer re-ranking (with a couple of exceptions; 247 didn’t provide transfer rankings on a couple of players)
