What Happened Wednesday Jarren Hightower and Tate

LoL, the onus is going to be on jarren to squash these transfer rumors. He got lucky yesterday that perry didnt get this team in the endzone one more time, or add fieldgoals. I have no faith in jarren against Fsu, if he does somehow get the nod this week, we'll see what happens. The best thing that happened to jarren was the 3 picks against V-tech, and manny milking the "he''s not full healed yet" line. We'll see what happens, now that throw he hit kj with to win the game was on point, but at the end of the day, in all the games perry has started, or played in, he's put the team in position to win.

If perry came out every game with the mindset we already down 2 touchdowns, he'd be one **** of a qb, cause he doesnt like losing and has that will to win! I will say this, this offense definitely is missing deejay, would be interesting to see how perry does with a healthy deejay who is responsible for helping jarren look better than he has been this season!
 
I’m tired of this. They both have been given plenty of opportunities to take a stranglehold of the starting QB and neither have. These entitled kids man. What good would it do you to transfer now? If perry is injured you would start and get more film. You could still transfer after the season.

Has there been an update on Thomas?

There are plenty of criticisms for Manny but he has given these guys a fair opportunity.

i agree on the entitled kids. they all want **** handed to them. i think JW is the best QB we have, but perrys off field and on field leadership this year has been nothing short of amazing. hes either pumping up his teammates on the sidelines, staying out of trouble, and playing when his number is called. he didnt run either when JW beat him out. if JW and tate leave, so be it. rather stick with kids fully committed to getting better and playing for the program than kids with one foot out the door

Isn't it clear to anyone watching that we still don't have a legit QB on this roster (again, for like the 18th consecutive year)?

so be it. idc who the coach is, but if manny somehow scrapes together a win streak, then **** be here next year and the kids gonna have to learn to support him. i dont think the win streak will happen given the evidence this year, but if that were the scenario. ill root for wins and not for entitled kids looking to bounce.

Manny’s not horrible. He needs changes to staff if he don’t get fired. I rather him go but if he stays he needs changes

dont disagree at all. he def needs to clean house if hes back next year. i do like how the kids that are on the field didn't lay down in an obvious spot against pitt on the road when they easily could've. i thought this board told me they quit on the team. glad to see them fighting. im just sick of these kids with one foot out the door season after season. thats one of the reasons im proud of perry. he could've quit before the year began and left us with no depth at QB. he didnt and supported JW all year. thats the kinda heart we need from the kids on the roster.

If Manny cans most of the staff at the end of the season and brings in somebody to run a spread offense, I’d be happy. He’s got one offseason to make changes and get the fan base back on board. We’ll see if he has it in him.
