Butch's worst year was 3 losses. he was almost perfect in bowl games and had horrible sanctions. Yet people wanted to run him out of town. Meanwhile, we have a staff and school celebrating "hard fought" losses? FSU is gonna tie this series soon. SMH

The administration happened.

Which lead to Coker happening.

Which lead to Shannon happening.

Which culminated in Golden happening.

It's a case study in cause and effect.
 
We got retards like Sonny Odogwu in the two deep & fat out of shape division 2 defensive lineman.
 
We are very close to competing for ships. Stop whining.

Still worried that Golden can't beat top teams, but we are looking the best I have seen in awhile.

I'm a Butch guy but that isn't true. We were 5-6 in 97.

That said, he have 10 years of subpar coaching
 
We listened to the players and hired Coker, we listened to the players again and hired Shannon, we let Shapiro in the door and Golden was a reach .... that is what happened

LOL at UTough. Program is all show and no substance. Its why we have things called Utough, #Renewed, #BrickbyBrick and all the other bull**** marketing schemes this program can muster. When you suck at your job, this is what you resort to.
 
The administration accepts mediocrity.

Shalala- she was hired in 2001 and began to influence the program. She instituted harder entrance requirements and a removing players from the team who are accused (not convicted mind you) of ****.

Jeremy Shockey would not have been admitted into Miami under Shalala's entrance requirements.

Number 1 influenced number 2, add in just horrific coaching and being a cheap admin that wants to be the least southeastern team in the southeast and here we are.

Alabama was trash before Saban showed up. USC wasn't anything special to Carroll became coach. And even FSU underperformed until Jimbo had a couple years there. The right coach does wonders. Is that Golden probably not, but this is very fixable.

Say what u want. I really need some change, but to Folden's credit...and Coley..at least they came out guns blazing to their limited ability and didnt pull a Louisville. The loss was painful, but I expected worse. They could have folded a lot earlier. Give me a new coach and spend some $$$, but at least they didn't *** out...and we were one bull**** fumble review from a win...but in true fashion, wearing that U on the helmet means...DO NOT leave it to the officials.

a coach like butch davis or mark stoops will hire a staff that would have kids like deon bush, tyriq accord,aqm, owens, grace, etc on all acc teams.
