What explains FSU's downtrend?

They basically appear to have all the things we use as excuses for our downfall. More $$$, better facilities, etc...

Their problems started the same as ours. Hiring new coaches that haven’t proved anything that don’t strike fear in their players, can’t develop talent, and horrible at the x’s and o’s. Lucked up with Jimbo same as Coker stepping into the lambo after Butch. Maybe they will act quick and make the changes in their athletic dept or they could be on the same track as us for the next 20+ years.
 
FSU’s demise started the last few years of the Bowden era. They’d have highly rated recruiting classes, but many of the best didn’t qualify or in one case, the #1 QB nationally went to play pro baseball. They had to force Bowden out. Jimbo recruited Winston, Ramsey, and a few others and won a ship. The Admin went cheap, Jimbo got an offer he couldn’t refuse, and the rest is a downward spiral.

But seriously, F-FSU.

I hear you, but technically they should be in better position than us to lure a legit coach. So it appears to be more of an admin thing. With us, it seams that higher ups priorities do not include athletics. Wonder if same applies to them

Poor leadership decision making.

Nothing more, nothing less.

They are in a crippling $55MM hole as a result of hiring/firing HC whose greatest contribution to the program was a man purse.

Jimbo pulled a Coker & began making **** evals + the locker room culture became toxic. He realized what he had done & got the f*ck out while the getting was good.

Taggart dumb *** left a good situation in Oregon for his "dream job" and inherited a DISASTER. He got pinned for the disaster & canned in probably the most disrespectful way since USC fired Kiffin.

Norvell inherited the same hot trash & they are in a DEEP DITCH right now that he ain't digging 'em out of. I personally love it & hope they burn down to the ground.
